Back home (Update!)

I finally have found enough time to post an update about my daughter.
On Sunday, she was particularly crabby. We thought this had to do with teething, so we weren't too concerned. I put her to bed around 9 that night, and she woke up at 10, making soft, whimpering sounds. She couldn't even cry! I quickly got her up and called my mom (because that's what almost everyone does when something is off with their child, right?) After talking to my mom, my fiance and I made the decision that she needed to be seen by a doctor. She struggled to breath, which was so scary!
Once we arrived, we were seen almost immediately by a doctor and about 5 hours (and 1 painful shot) later, we had a room. Alexandra was observed for over 24 hours before being sent home. She was diagnosed with croup, I believe. While we were there, we had fun with the extra twin bed and recliner. Alan and I were SO GRATEFUL for a place to sleep while we were there. I even was able to get a little studying in while she rested (which didn't happen very often!)
Our little girl in the zoo.... I mean, metal crib.

Today she has shown a complete turnaround. She is back to her normal self, and although I'm rather under the weather, Alan has informed me that she has crawling backward down pat. AHH! She's growing SO FAST!
