Alexandra has been ill with a cold. I hope she recovers soon. Her constant screaming is tearing at my heart. I wish I could help her feel better because right now I feel like a terrible mother! One of the only things that brings her comfort is holding her close and nursing. Last night, she woke around 11 and Alan was able to comfort her back to sleep for a little while. As the fortune cookie from a recent trip to the (BEST) area Chinese restaurant said, Alan has "Patience that tries the sands of time" There is no doubt in my mind that this fact is true.
I have patience too, but mine is with other things. Such as poopy cloth diapers. I've taken to calling her Princess Poops A Lot... because she does! It's a term of endearment, nothing less. After going through 15 diapers yesterday, I am once again glad to be a cloth diaperer. No idea how much money I've saved and how many bags of disposables I've kept from the landfill, but WOW! I'm sure the number is staggering!
Alan and I are currently looking into Pre-Cana. I hope we will be able to begin soon so that we can get married before Alexandra's first birthday! (For those of you not aware, Alan and I were engaged in February, 2008 and Alexandra was born in July, 2009. God had some plans alternative to what we would consider idealistic, but as my dad says, "Life is what happens when you're busy making other plans.")
Just curious, is anyone else addicted to the mindless babble that is JERSEY SHORE?! I am hopelessly in love with The Situation, although I'm starting to believe he's just a butthead!
OH OH OH OH OH OH!
I got a hair cut! :)
There should be a pic of the before down there somewhere!
