Tomato Tomato!

Today the mailman (I'm sorry, mailWOMAN) delivered the latest edition of the Burpee gardening catalog. I am drooling at their tomato plants. One of the types is actually PINK (aka Big Pink Tomato), another is orange, red, and yellow, (aka Tye-Dye)!

I think I'm going to plant a garden with these beauties! Since I'll have tomatoes, the only logical step to take next would be to plant some cilantro, onions, garlic..you know, all the ingredients needed to make SALSA (because sometimes I like it HOT!)
I'd also like to plant some sweet potatoes, normal potatoes, sweet corn, squash... yum! I can just imagine everything in the fall...all I need to do now is to learn how to can!

In other news, I go back to school on Wednesday. I've had a fabulous break, but I'm more than ready to go back and be around humans again...well, humans that aren't related. :) My courses this quarter range from agriculture to human sexuality. Hmm! Should be a fun quarter. ;)

Alexandra has started on solids! Her first food was squash, and she LOOOVES IT! I didn't know someone could be so happy about eating a food the same consistency and color as their poop, but now I do!
