My daughter is CRAWLING!Oh my gosh. I kind of thought this day would never come. She would pull herself up and then flop back down, and did so for at least a month.
Today though, she just took off. What started as an army crawl has quickly taken off into a full-out sprint...or at least as close to a sprint as a crawling baby can get. :)
My spring break is comi
ng to a close and I'm (almost) upset. I'm really looking forward to classes starting again on Monday. I know I
will do well this time. Last quarter put me on the dean's list, which was (of course) amazing. I've been fighting an uphill battle with my classes. Starting with the Spring Quarter of 2008, I would get sooo nervous around people that I wouldn't go to class. This continued for a year until I realized I had one last chance before I would fail out of school (yes, it was that serious.) I did better Spring of 2009, a little better in the Fall of 2009, and then Winter 2010 came around and I hit a home run. My GPA for the quarter was 3.75. I hope that after Spring 2010, it will be a 4.0.Next quarter, Alexandra will be going to a different daycare, too. I'm a little nervous for her to switch, but I know it will work out the best for us. My classes will go late into the evening, and the daycare she was at before closed before I was finished. This will be better for all of us. (I have to keep telling myself that).
Alan and I are still getting married at the end of May. Things are slowly starting to come together. Times like these are when you find out who your real friends are, that's for sure.
